All Hollows Eve and what is means.

[re-post: http://biblerama.blogspot.com/2004_10_01_biblerama_archive.html#109901657796849599]

One year ago today I wrote the above entry. It talks about what All Hollows Eve is, and where it comes from. It was a borrowed holiday, that the Christians made their own. It still gets to me today, how certain Christians do not understand the Holiday, and shun their children from taking part in it.

Halloween is a wonderful celebration of fall, life, harvest, and the cycles of life. We should not take our kids from it, but rather enrich them in knowledge, real - researched, true knowledge about the holiday.

I am a Christ Follower, who believes Halloween is a great holiday, in fact it's one of my favorites!

Here we go again... more RFID chips uglies

Well,

The wonderful Govt. of ours has done it again! This time they have started what I said was coming, and what others have said was coming. The use of RFID chips! Well here it is: ZDNet Article. Even though the state dept. got back some 2,302 writen complaints, which 98% of them were negative, the Bush Admin. said it is trying to stay complaint with Global Standards set forth by the U.N.?

My question is why was this not brought before the Congress? Why was this not set for a public vote? I tell you why, because they hope to slip this by so far that it's to late!

We must fight back, and not allow such things to happen. For thos that will not read the link, as of 2006 all new passports will have a RFID chip in them. Things you can do to destroy it: (1) Cook your passport in the microwave, (2) Smash it with a heavy object or hammer, etc.

We must not allow this evil to enter our homes... fight back!

How sweet it is!

How sweet it is!

What a game it was this past Saturday! Watching Alabama pull it out over TN was just great! I know that this is not a sports blog, but I love Alabama football, and it's great to see them be 8-0. Now they just have to keep marching on!

My wife

My wife is so wonderful, her and the kids, and sometimes I can take for granted how great she is. She keeps us going, manages us, why I most likely could not get myself dressed in the morning with out her! That's a lie, because I could get dressed, but it would take me forever. It's just Amy is so wonderful, and I am so used to seeing her everyday, that it does not cross my mind most the time, that one day either I or her will pass on from this life.

It usually takes the lose of someone close to make you realize that your closest will be gone some day. This holds true for my parents, brother, aunts, wife, kids, etc. I just want to say, and point out, that we should all take the time to spend with our loved ones as much as possible, and be thankfulf or the time we have, and not waste that time with beckerin, or self-centered hog wash. I love my wife and kids, I love my entire family, but this post is about my wife.

She is wonderful in so many ways! She watches after our kids and me, makes sure we have the things we need, is always making sure we have fun, and go places, she is a wonderful mother to say the least, and she a my lover. I love to hold her, look into her eyes, see her smile, and hear her voice. I love to her get excited, and be just as happy as she can be! I love to make her smile, I always have, and that's all I really have ever wanted to do. My wife, is most likely, the best wife on the face of this earth! I love her, and forever will!

I could go on and on, but what it comes down to is my wife is my best friend. She is more than just my lover, but she is who I trust my everything with. I am so thankful for her, and thank our creator everyday... everyday I get to spend with her.

I love you Amy!
~ love me!

Some R&R

Well My family and I got some much needed R&R in the Smokies this past weekend. We stayed in a cabin for 4 days and 3 nights. It was so great, the woods, and all! Plus we got on some go-karts, went to dinner and shows, walked all around. It was wonderful, and the kids, Amy, and I had a blast!

It feels good to come back, and have the rested feeling. I know am am very thankful to have been given the ability to take Amy and my kids on such an experince. To allow them to see things, and visit places. I am very thankful to be able to do such things. I know that it helps our kids grow, because they get to experince other places, and learn new things.

All in all, I recommend the smokies to anyone. There is horse back riding, trails, shopping (of course), shows, really good food, and a ton of history.

Are we miss using God's name?

I recently read a post on a page that has some interst to me. Reason being is because of my discovery last year, or God's name (YHWH / YHVH) and Christ name, Yeshua.

http://webbpage.topcities.com/hallelujah.html#101

It is a good read, and bring the question forward... are we doing other things like this? Do we do things, just because others do? Do we not learn for ourselves what things mean, etc?

Some strange wing dings...

A friend of mine brought to my attention something that I have not seen in a while. I recall seeing this after the 9/11 terror attacks on the twin towers, but have since forgot about it until today. If you open up a word document, type in : 'Q33 NY' and highlight it. Change the font to 36, and then change the font to the first wingdings font, you will see something similar to the following:

So from looking at the above picture, you see what looks like a plane, that is going into two buildings, then a pause, then death, then the Star of David. Of course before the 9/11 attacks such a sight would not mean much really. Who would put such a thing together? After though, post 9/11, we see such things and it freaks us out, because in word was a warning. A look into the future? Maybe...

*EDIT: The above is not true at ALL! After research, found out that Q33 NY is in no way associated with any plane that hit the towers. Though strange as it is, these wing dings have come under fire before, in 1992. Then they were blamed as being anti-sematic, which a reviewing board deemed not true.

This still however does not clear the fact that the below finding, of my own experiment is not cool... because I still think it is!

Now for something else that I found even more intersting. I saw that Y made the star of David come up. I also know that in english, Y is the first letter in YHWH / YHVH, which is the name I use in reference to our creator. I decided to do a little experiment, and see what this would look like when changed to wing dings, and here is the result:

So when the name of God is changed to wingdings font, this is what you see. You can say what you want, and make all kinds of assumptions, but for me... well that's just to cool!

I would like to take the time and thank opennly YHWH / YHVH God and Yeshua Christ for all things that have been giving to me and my family. For the time I have with them, and for the moments I have been able to share with them.

Robin Weikel Howell d: Oct. 2nd 2005

Edited with correction age.

Robin Weikel Howell was the Sister to my wife Amy Weikel George. She was 34 years old, and passed away on Oct. 2nd 2005 during a car wreck. Her husband, Keith Howell from Stonewall, LA. (Currently living in Houston, TX) was there when this happened, and was able to comfort her as she passed away. She leaves behind a lot of family and friends that loved her, and unfinished plans with her husband, children, sisters, and other loved ones.

It is sad for us to lose such a wonderful light in this sometimes dark world. But our creator was ready for her to come back home. We should take comfort in that she is were we all want to be. Of course we should all cherish the time we have, and live each day as if it were our last.
I, with a sad heart, have to admit I only knew her through brief moments at my wife's and I wedding, and pictures, and stories from my wife, and others. From what I can tell she was wonderful, loving, caring, and adored by all who meet her.

May you rest in peace Robin, and watch over the loved ones you leave behind. Help our creator in comforting them, and letting them know that you are were you are suppose to be.

In Yeshua Christ name, I ask that YHWH God guide us and help us all!

Rest in Peace Robin

Edited because I can't spell! :-)

I watched last night, as my wife aged about 5 years. Her momed called her to tell her that her older sister Robin has passed away.

Nothing can ever prepare someone for such a thing. They said her husband was there with her, holding her hand as she passed away. She leaves behind 3 sisters, a mother, a step mom, step children, and a husband, as well as many other family and friends, loved ones.

It always hits hard for a while when things happen like this. Reminds us of how fragile, and finite we all are. In the blink of an eye is a true statement, and more true when you are faced with it. We should all treasure the momments our creator has given us, and when people go on from this world we should celebrate the life they lived, and be thankful they are at home.

My belief's tell me that death is but another chapter in this journey. It ends the short mortal span of and begins the next, spirtual chapters of our journey. Just the start of the journey, death is, but for us still here on the other side, it's always hard to deal with.

Any prayers for the family are of course welcomed. May YHWH God guide us and be with us all!
