Coming up on April

Well I am coming up on April. I have been in more and more into learning about nature, the woods, etc.

It seems as if my adventure to become a woodsman, and me wanting to serve and worship YHWH God is becoming less and less two things, and more like one. I truly believe that experincing now the outdoors is where we should be as much as possible. I will still write about my lessons and such.

Like this past weekend, was easter weekend. And yes, we did hide and find easter eggs with our kids. I also took the time to thank the Lord for the free salvation, and also took the time to explain (not in great detail because she is still to young) about what Easter was really all about.

We always have to keep what and why we are celebrating, and not every let the greeting card companies over power us.

So my prayer for everyone is that you listen to your hurt, and listen to the child within you. Go run, play, hike, swim, anything outdoors! May YHWH God be with us and guide us all!

Beware the ides of March...

et tu brute?

A friend of mine ask me who said those words. Without thinking to much I said Ceaser. Of course that is the wrong answer, because Shakespeare said it in his play that he wrote.

It's funny how we can easily construe things, or mis align things, or think someone said or did something - based on a mere misconception. The point of this is (a) it's March and I am loving it, (b) we need to always think before we talk.
Be careful not to fall prey to misconceptions, find out for yourself. Like when someone reads you a verse from the Bible and says it means this, or that. Don't take their word for it, read it for yourself. Find out what it says to you!

Another point that I have not paid much attetion to, that my friend has always said. It's good to know the word, but better to experince it -- in the woods!

So my prayer for today is that some how everyone will get a chance to sit in the woods, go camping, and get closer to YHWH God and Yeshua Christ. It seems that to truly experince the word, we should go forth into the world. That is true, but most of the time we only go into the cities and town. The real world awaits us... nature!

May YHWH God bless us and guide us all! Peace be with everyone!
